LINCS FM INTERVIEW

Published 3rd August 2015

Well we finished the winter barley harvest two days ago.  It was a case of combining in between the showers that week!  But we managed it and the barley is all safely stored in the shed.

Yesterday we were cutting milling wheat for a local farmer but today started cutting our oilseed rape crop, (which we press some for our popular rapeseed oil).  Head of Programming/Radio Presenter "Sean Dunderdale" from Lincs FM (102.2 fm) contacted us about interviewing Andrew regarding our 2015 Harvest and today he got a ride in Andrew's combine to tape his interview.  That's them on the opening photo!

The first part is to be aired on their FARMING PROGRAMME this Sunday 9th August 2015 at 7am with the second part the following Sunday 23rd August 2015.

I have been busy taking lots of photos of our harvest - ready for release on our Facebook page during British Food Fortnight - 19th September 2015 to 4th October 2015.  Every day for the whole two weeks, we will post photos and/or recipes to promote what contribution we make towards Love British Food/British Food Fortnight and their "Bring Home the Harvest" campaign - which highlights the importance of the harvest festival celebrations and British farming.  Must dash - got some hungry workers to feed!
