Well it seems a long time since the sound of our combine harvesters could be heard. "Team Ownsworth" are now all busy with working up the land and drilling next year's crops. We shall be sowing our cereal crops up until mid November and picking this year's crop of grapes - and then we can have a little rest!
BRITISH FOOD FORTNIGHT starts tomorrow and we will be posting our "2015 Harvest" in photos and text as part of our contribution to spreading the word about this special celebration of British farming and food. Finally - just to let you all know we are already preparing for Christmas and have commissioned a gift box to hold a copy of "Ronnie's Rapeseed Oil Recipes" cookbook, a 250 ml bottle of our delicious rapeseed oil, a 250 ml bottle of flavoured vinegar and a 250 ml bottle of speciality sauce - both from fellow SELECT LINCOLNSHIRE members. We will have a selection of vinegars and sauces to choose from.
