GROWER OF THE YEAR 2015 - WINNER

Published 28th October 2015

Well what a busy few weeks we have had!  From tastings at new store openings for Lincolnshire Co-op, to the very enjoyable Victorian Fayre at Louth in the Lincolnshire Wolds, to going into our local primary school, Ancaster CofE Primary to teach the Key Stage 2 children how to make a scone based pizza topped with local vegetables, cheese and chine during British Food Fortnight to attending the famous Bramley Apple Festival at Southwell Minster and representing Love British Food and contributing to the harvest festival display at Lincoln Cathedral during the County Harvest Festival Service on 25th October - it has been an amazing month!

The icing on the cake was being awarded GROWER OF THE YEAR 2015 in Select Lincolnshire's Food Drink & Accommodation Awards held on Tuesday 27th October 2015 at the Riseholme Agricultural College based on the Lincolnshire Showground.  The room was filled with so many talented Lincolnshire businesses - all deserving of awards.  We were delighted when our name was called out as the ultimate winner in the Grower of the Year category.  We have worked even harder this year to continue producing our high quality rapeseed oil, despite the fluctuating weather conditions and also to attend as many events as we can.

We will be attending:

THORESBY WINTER FOODFEST in the Coach House Stables on Saturday and Sunday 14th and 15th November 2015
GRANTHAM CHRISTMAS MARKET in the George Centre, Grantham on Saturday and Sunday 28th and 29th November 2015
LOUTH CHRISTMAS MARKET in the Market Square, Louth on Sunday 29th November 2015
ALFORD CHRISTMAS FAIR on Sunday 6th December 2015
