DIPS and GRANOLA

Published 15th March 2017

I'd like to introduce you to some delicious locally made food.  Hand crafted with love and care to the highest standards, fully traceable AND using our award winning rapeseed oil in as an ingredient in these Lincolnshire products!

'Super Duper Houmous' is made by The Dip Society, based in Market Rasen.  Helen and Claire met at a wedding some years ago, and were chatting about the lack of quality and really tasty dips around, it wasn't long after they started "The Dip Society".  They trialled a houmous made with our rapeseed oil, took it to Great Taste Awards and came back with a Gold Star in 2015.  They have since introduced a spicy houmous made with chilli.  In Lincolnshire, the Super Duper Houmous is sold in selected Lincolnshire Co-op stores and some independent stockists.  Learn more about The Dip Society on their website www.thedipsociety.co.uk or follow them on their @thedipsociety facebook and @TheDipSociety twitter pages.

We regularly use the Dip Society's 'Super Duper Houmous' in pitta breads, dip with crackers and Pipers Crisps and in salads.  Topped with relish or chutney, salsa or balsamic reductions, elevates this high quality houmous to another level, but you can find more recipe ideas on their website and on their social media pages.

Greenoaks Granola is based in Barrowby, Grantham and the lady behind this superb granola is Jules Clough.  When friends tried her home-made granola they loved the taste so much they encouraged her to start making it for local businesses.  Nutty & Wholesome, Cranberry & Orange and Lemon & Ginger are packaged in a family sized bags as well as snack sizes.  Whilst on a plane on holiday, Jules came up with the idea of savoury versions of her granola when she struggled to find alternatives to chocolate bars and crisps during the flight so her Morrocan Mix, BBQ and Masala granola are a healthier savoury snack to pop into your handbag handy for mid morning or afternoon breaks.   These are now produced in snack sized bags.  Learn more about Jules and her granola on her website www.greenoaksgranola.co.uk.  Follow Jules on her @GreenoaksGranolabyJules facebook and @G_oaksGranola twitter pages.
